Coromandel Fishing Charters offers coastal fishing in the calm and safe waters of Coromandel Harbour. Fishing trips depart from Hannafords Wharf located 10 minutes south of Coromandel Town and 45 minutes north of Thames, on the west coast of Coromandel Peninsula.
We offer full day and half day fishing trips, private charters, and three day/two night trips to Great Barrier and Cuvier Islands.
We are happy to take all ages and stages of fishing ability.
You don’t have to be an expert at fishing to come on one of our trips, and if you have never fished before we’ll be available to help out with using a rod and baiting up.
The mussel farms located in the harbour are a fine feeding source for the resident snapper and other fish. This means we don’t have to go too far for a catch.
Depending on your group size or what you're keen to do we have two boats available; Soprano I caters for up to six people and Soprano II has a capacity to take 22 passengers on fishing trips.
Our boats are also available for functions such as scenic cruises, Christmas parties, work dos, family get-togethers and other parties.
