Albatross Charters operate from Hannaford Wharf on Te Kouma Road, Coromandel town, New Zealand.
Albatross is the fastest charter boat in Coromandel Town area which gives you less travelling time but more fishing time. Albatross is a 10 metre full walkaround catamaran, purpose-built to cater for day fishing charters.
It has 2 engines giving 500HP for your safety.
Albatross is in safe ship management and surveyed for 14 persons plus crew.
Tea & coffee available by request. Bait for sale, rods and tackle is available for hire on a minimum charge. Suitable for wheelchairs. Eftpos on board.

The Fishing
The popular mussel farm fishing for snapper
is less than 5 mins away from the wharf.
Targetting mainly snapper, trevally, kingfish, kahawai, John Dory and Gurnard. Scallops
can be dredged (in season)

Or maybe just go sight seeing around the beautiful bays and bountiful islands in the coromandel and maybe see dolphins, whales, orcas and diving birds feeding.

Local Knowledge
Les is an experienced Skipper,is very familiar with Coromandel fishing areas,& knows where all of the fishing hotspots are, plus has great knowledge about the history in the area.
Weather is usually not a problem as of the many islands and shelter they offer.
He will bait your hooks and look after your catch, plus provide one on one tuition if required.
